tuning was done in the older times when arials werent pre-tuned........nowdays they all are...... i used to sell a mixture of cheap and good.....basiclly good ones had better reciption and clarity than a cheapie. a good aireal in the rite area can travel just as far as uhf...if not more:) get a whip ...

Hey mate, The winch... i spose you have arb/tjm/ genuin bullbar with space for a winch?? If you do...generally you have a choice of 8000p or 9000p winches...Carnt go wrong with any warn winch...there is a new one out called a TABOR wich warn makes but sell it off as tabor not warn...its the old ...

They are defintly anti-inversion shackles.... i do use them on my hilux as i had a problem with the shakles inverting when there was no weight in the back while wheelin... if you dont have a problem with them inverting yet...these wont effect anythin already its just extra security basiclly.

Optima deep cycle are the way to go they can b used as a crankin if need b(900cca) also they are the qucikest chargin deepcycle and they are sealed unit too. u can pick up GSL for bout $100 not as cheap as jaycar and the likes but still very good and u can set all the options for wich to charge ...

the fridge will draw aprox 4 amps/per hour at worse conditions....hot weather and open closing all the time. your fridge will also stop when ur battery is gettin low. so work out ur deep cycle battery amp/hrs thast how long till flat. ive drivin both ... the 3lt does go better..but theres almot more elctrics etc in it to plau up and its not a motor u can just play with urself...it will be more costly than the 2.8 if tis shits itself... its a more simple motor.

not sure on if its sythenic or not but from wot ive been told Penzol is the best to use....as its a company that all they do is make oils unlike mos the otehr companies that do a bit of everything. wich does make sense but yeah i use penzol or castrol its probly liek toyota vs nissan holden vs ford.

well thanks for all the help... after bein to toyota and a few spare shops.... i carnt run the p/s hose setup as the problem is i dont a a p/s setup readiator..the outlet is in a different spot :x so i will b goign with scottos ideas:)

Waeco is ok but it is a cheaply built fridge compared to Engal... engal are just the best.....simple:) and as i said b4 only ever had waeco's returne for faults... never a engal:)

I have 60 litre waeco, havn't had any problems. I'm sure the engal are better but there nearly twice the price so I don't think it's worth it personally. Mine was $1200. From memory the engal was over $2000 in the same size. Steve waceo is still ok and is a cheaper alternitve but 2k for engal 60 is ...

Go for the engal if u can spend the extra $$$ i sell both brands...with fridges the $$$ are worth it. Waceo fridges have shitty seals and they have to be sitting as flat as possible to work effictnly.... also waceo needs a ac adaptor for 240volt(excpet the new waceo 40lt) and they draw bout 4 ...

My bottome radiator outlet turns 90' to face the passenger side, there is a small rubber hose that goes onto the solid pipe that I've badly drawn on the pic for the hose to clamp onto half way up the side of the radiator. this seems to be the best idea i thinks.. did u do it urself ? was also ...

well those of u with power steer pump on a hilux(2.8d duno if the other motors are similar) but problem is the water hose from the pump to the bottom of the radiator rubs on the p/s pump... this is the 2nd hose in a year to get a hole. all the vibration rubs the rubber away.... anyone got any ideas ...

i think its cheap insurance nothing ever will b 100% roo proof...no way possible can it be.....even if u take a few palstic ones.,. they are liek $6.95 a pack at my shop.... and well shoo roo being a bit more expensive...if fitted to a proteced area on the front he wont block up.... if they save 3 ...
