thanks my earths arnt the best i need to fix all of them up a touch i think. but yea anyway went out there tonight and cranked it and wouldnt you know it, it started... so the car started and i finaly got some sence out of it and error code 14 come up which is the ECT sensor and yea had a good look ...

ive just trimmed the stuff that i didnt need out of each of the looms. i had a copy of a wiring diagram from PJ.Zook i think it was.

ive been trying to find the codes and pins to do a diagnos but havent had much luck

yea fuel pump should be fine, when ever its cranking you can smell the fuel and also when i pull the plugs out it is wet. so as far as i can tell the fuel pump is good

hi hows it going, well i got my car back from the exhaust joint yesterday and thought id try and start my car with the new engine but it doesnt like starting, itjust keeps cranking and has a little flutter as if it wants to start but then nothing.

i thought i would pull the spark plug out to check ...

baleno conversion - wiring loom

hows it going guys and girls, im currently doing a baleno engine conversion in my sierra but just need a rough idea on how much of the wiring loom has to actually come out. ive got it half out and just not to sure if the rest of it has to come.

maybe some pics of the wiring loom that others have ...

hows it going, im just about to start a baleno conversion for my sierra and can remember reading somewhere that the jimny's had a sump that would suit the baleno motor and would clear the crank angle sensor (CAS).

my question is, does anyone know if this is true or just a misguided post?

yea they would help with the castor issue.

when i was looking at lifting my coily i got onto alan johnson from piranah offroad in melbourne, an he had plenty of ideas. he was talking about custom springs an struts an a couple of dropped radius bars.

hows it going, well on the weekend we had a fair bit of rain so i took me sierra out and had some fun till i crushed my bearings in the rear diff and it looks as tho the diff is bent also. so im after some ideas on what to do wether it be get another sierra diff, fix this one or go something else ...

thanks mate ill spray them too, but there is power going right through the motor constantly so im guessing its shorting inside somewhere? could be rong but i cant see there being a need for constant power through the case or bracket of the motor

speedy wheels did have an issue with there rims crackin around the hubs but as soon as that was brought to there attention it was fixed and faulty rims were replaced, and the balance has got more to do with the tyre then the rim unless its badly buckled, and even then for the rim to through the ...

mines doing the same thing, whats the HIC, is that on the carby. i just put a carby kit through mine and a new fuel filter, blew out all the fuel lines. the only thing i can think of now is a fuel pump

cost isnt really something im worring to much about, would love to do it for nothing but, when does anything cost nothing when dealing with cars.

i can get a GTI engine pretty cheap, and wouldnt be to much mucking around really, well i dont seem to think so yet anyway
