gday, Just wondering what you guys rekon it would cost to swap a TD4.2 from one patrol to another. situation is that i have a gu coilcab ute and gu ute with the leaf rear. Both have the non turbo 4.2l diesels. The coil cab has 300 odd thousand kays on it and the leaf rear gu has 120 odd thousand kms ...

kond, just wondering how you remounted the rear fuel tank back in.did you lift the tank higher?, seeing as you did the rear chassis chop? any chance of a photo or two on how u mounted it. and also the top shock mounts ? i seen in another post of yours you were talking about a rear gq diff. is this ...

gday, am in same boat, inherited the old girls 80 series stock as... getting 79 series body soon off a mate.... am wanting to do the same conversion... i rekon with wider stanc and coils all round it will look boss. Will be hard to decide wat to drive between my gu ute and this when its done... haha

any idea on what offset i should be running for 35's?

gday, just wondering if anyone is running 35" tyres on there gu utes with leaf back suspension... am contemplating it but not sure about wheel offsets etc have also been looking at 4 inch setups by snake racing.. anyone done the same? can anyone help me out... ive noticed that the back tyres are ...

haha my GU ute whistles too loud i rekon... loud as sounds like a ricer car when changing gears and revving up ... grows on ya though.... funny when pple allways seem to stare when i drive past...
