JK.

It's almost impossible to choose between a Rubicon with a crappy engine or a diesel with crappy diffs, but the basic design is sound either way.

Jimny's are unfortunately made of glass and pajeros aren't really comparable. I think late model SWB pajeros are fairly irrelevant, even though I ...

The vehicles you have listed as possibles are so wildly different as to make suggestions very difficult.

What exactly are you after is terms of road / off road capability.

Everything is a trade off - better in one are means worse in another so you have tt decide what you want to achieve.

Many ...

On the beach it struggled to take off from a standstill in the soft stuff so much so that you needed low range just to get moving whereas the jeep just powered off.

you expect to use low range in a zook. high range is basically useless in them.

one of my mates has had a tj and a jimny similar ...

replace the clutch plate, pressure plate and both thrust and spigot bearings. also get the flywheel machined.
you can try and adjust the steering box. but sierra's always seem to have a bit of play there.

even at the right ratio it can be to strong.
an example is when a coolant flush is done say on a camry and 6 months later it comes in for a service and its weeping out all the hoses etc. its cause the coolant is to strong on an old vehicle.
but to answer ur question yes any coolant should be fine ...

gotta be careful with the toyota long life (red).
as its very strong. can eat through head gaskets if it isnt diluted properly. i prefer the toyota super longlife. (pink).
also its already pre mixed which is handy.

i just bought 15 x7 alloys with neg 13 offset.
will a 215 75 15 squeeze onto them or is the tyre to skinny?
more so worried when they are aired down to say 8 psi if they will roll off the bead more so than if the stock size rim was used?
