Mounting a winch

Can i mount a Warn 9000LB winch with the mounting face, face down mounted on the horizontal with the bolts coming up from underneath or does it have to be mounted the normal way with the mounting face vertical.

Gee that 60 of yours BULLET looks neat. I will do a shakle reversal. Read alot of pro's and cons but in the end its not a daily so i figured it cant hurt. Its just a shame there is more drinking and looking than there is fabricating going on, Dam Carlton Dry.

I would like to convert my 60 ute to 4 link rear and would like to know if someone could point me in some direction as to what angles, what lengths, what to make the arms out of and what to use as ends for the links. I am thinking of using 80 series arms for the front

Re: 3f

I had a 3f in my 80 it had done aprox 300,000 km and just starting to blow a little bit of smoke, they are a good motor but lack in power. You will find your self in low range a lot when in the bush, that is why I put a 350 chev in mine.

Same here, mine is the carby 3f and can honestly say that i ...

It seems to flex allright. Im trying a few different spring set ups and its looking good. With the front working fully and the rear only compressing half way, was able to lift the front wheel 44 gallon drum hight.
Not sure what to do to the rear 4 Link or buggy leaf. Any thoughts
