Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hey my fathers Tb42 has 29X XXXks on it had it since around 7X XXX, never had a problem. it is a EFI model if that makes a diff.

the proplem with that is the fuel system is electronic the reason why i want to go to the newer motor, and gettin a 24v system for that would be a pain i beleave... might have a look into it tho

hello all Im lookin at droping in a Gu TD42-T into my patrol the only problem is my car is a 24v system the engine is a 12v system. G'day all Im looking at getting an fj40 as a bit of a play around project car and maybe future comp vehicle, now the 40 im looking at seems to be in pretty good nick an has just had a v8 dropped into it. But im worried about the approach angle on these things as the front leaves stick out a fair way ...

I'm new to diesel an i know the coil light is to show you that the glow plugs are warming up an you should wait till the light goes out before you start it. But should the light flash on an off quickly while driving... as it came on a few times on the drive home tonight i could barely realized it ...

...20l per tank thats alot lol. i was hopin to use just when my egts are high or when i hit high boost as i do alot of heavy work in hot enviorments. although after having a read the performance gains look tempting, would be nice to have like an on/off switch and a boost/egt sensor for when in off ...

has anybody tried this conversion, will it work and is there any major issues with it.

it just seams like a good engine due to the high(for a 4cyl) torque down low.
