I only ever use pure gum turpentine as an additive for my furniture polish. Never heard of using it in fuel. It's not generally something you hear of mentioned as a fuel additive. It's quite a while since I researched it, so can't remember specifics offhand, but the stuff does have some desirable ...

when the old one was in, if i tap the top of the voltage reg cover(in engine bay) the lights go out and everythings good til i turn engine off, so im fairly sure thats part of the problem Speculation won't repair it. Proper diagnosis will lead to a repair, however. Unless you get the meter on it ...

Workshop manual quickie
Just a quick ask from you Nissan chaps. :) If anyone happens to download any of these at any point, (especially the upper three from the list): http://forums.bauchan.org/portal/downloads.php?dcid=18 could you just let me know if the descriptions are okay or if I've ball'sed them up. :D I'm not ...

I was hoping for something more like a liquid that i could just pour in the hole, seal up and slosh around, with the liquid converting all the rust and forming a protective coating. If it's not too badly rusted, I'd go with the advice above. Something lanolin or fish oil based. Provided it coats ...

the 2.4TD was an abosolute dog, the 3.0TD is a whole new ball game. That's another point where you tend to find a lot of variation. I know some of the members on the UK Surf forum have 2.4's that run like absolute slugs, whereas others have rather nippy 2.4's. Never has there been a specific reason ...

Well, I can honestly say I've seen some crap posted in threads before, but some of the opinions in this thread take the biscuit for complete and utter tosh. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Surfs. They are not Lemons or anything like. You simply have to remember that a lot of the Surfs are ...
