hi all new to the site. i have an 80 series cruiser and lately has developed a problem. for some reason when you go from park to drive obviously with foot on brake there is a graunching noise and the left side of vehicle drops. going from neutral to reverse with foot of brake no issue. my thought is i have a problem with piston in left rear brake caliper. has anyone had this problem and what they did to solve it.

cheers jono.

If you think it's a brake/caliper problem, get it jacked up and try spinning the wheels whilst someone is applying the brake. If it is brake related and dropping/pushing to the left, it would be the right hand side I'd be checking, not the left.
Screw the chavs and God save the Queen!
