In terms of economy with my 285 75MTRs i get about 13 -13/5 L/100kms, when i had the BFG ATs(same size) i used to get in the low 10's, somewhere between 10.2 and 11 consistently. Its a great truck at a great price and i cant understand why it aint gone!!! Heaps of emails ...

Well I took the 2.8 for a drive, nothing wrong with it but it's just more of the same for me. it felt ok but I could not help but feel once i got 130l fuel and the gear on board it was going to be saying "I think I can I think I can" on the hills and undulations. Sooo Not enough improvement to ...

I only have experience of one 2.8 which I helped a mate intercool. It was awesome with the intercooler on it.

I have heard lots of bad about the 3.0, nothing bad about the 2.8 though...

What Rims is best and for what? I have recently purchased a 4runner and it has smaller wider rims on the truck and it has larger narrower rims in the boot. whats rims should i run? I'll put new tyres on what ever i choose. Mind you the spare is the same size as the ones in the boot.
