my old boy is selling his 04' prado to buy a 05'-06' hilux space cab. he's got 33 bfg's on his prado. will these fit on the hilux without scrubbing? is the stud pattern and size of the hubs/brake calipers etc the same?

well i guess it prob a combination of a lot of things after hearing all this... its done 330,000km but pretty sure its been rebuilt which isnt 2 say the carby was or things like wheel bearings were done either. looks like i might hav2 get the jeep in full flight again while the zook gets fixed up ...

Remove the restricter under the accelerator pedal i saw that there was a bolt under the peddle but there seems 2 be no gain in power once i reach about 2/3 anyway... im def gonna do the timing. get the missus's ol boy 2 giv me a hand... could this explain the rattliy tappets at all? also remember 1 ...

ive got a 1990 1.3 soft top but it wont go over 90kmh!!! is this normal? a few of my mates rekon theirs can get up2 130kmh... can it be easily fixed? my spark plugs and leads have been changed and its all been serviced recently when i bought it... only thing is my tappets r pretty rattly could this ...

well i dnt really want 2 spend 2 much until i hav2... and besides i'd like 2 spend the money elsewhere like making my jeep and suzi better off road if i realy dnt need 2 do any work 2 the zook im not sure if its that bad really anyway. it blows no smoke and doesn't breathe out the top of the motor ...

what should i do? motor has a distinct rattle/knocking in it so whats the best & most cost effective option? rebuild a 300,000km old motor or replace the whole driveline with 2nd hand vitara gear if i could find it? how hard is a conversion? should i keep the original running gear? both the gbox and ...

yeh i'll have a better look at it then this w/e. its not as bad as i 1st thort an my mate said his 89' sierra had a similar amount of play. it starts 2 steer earlier than i thort 2. might be something else screwed coz it wobbles around a bit at like 80km/h over bumps. but i prob just need 2 get used ...

cheers fellas. well after driving it 2night i think firstly needs more power! lol needs rear locker 1st i'd say can do bl at work and good 2nd hand muddys should do the trick then. with 2 growing 4x4's on an apprentice wage needs 2 be on a budget 2! :P how much could i pick up a locker 4 in the back ...

bought a 1990 sierra yesterday. YAY! so freakin happy now xj cherokee and zook in the garage an cant wait 2 get it built up! anyway bout half a turn of play in the steering so new steering box or will it adjust out a fair bit? cheers fellas
