I purchased a dtronic last week. I drove to melb with a trailer, loaded it, plugged the dtronic in and headed back home. What I noticed was that it held gears on hills. No need to change back. The extra pwr towing is very noticable and makes driving more of a pleasure instead of slowing down to 90 ...

Exhaustfix, Have you had much to do with late model diesels such as 3.0l Patrols? Do they have a restrictive dump pipe like the 4.2td? I had a quick look under my 3.0 and it looks like the cat comes straight from the turbo. Is this right? Would I benefit from a 3" system? I think the turbo outlet is ...

Double Cardan joint for MQ patrol
Hi Guys,
Looking for a double cardan joint for a MQ front tail shaft. Where can I get one asap? Called a number of places but no can do. Albury/Wodonga is preferable but Melb is an option as a mate is coming up on Fri.
TIA......Leroy

Problem has been "fixed" but stick to the 4.2 there is so much in the way of tech support and it'll last a hell of a lot longer. It also depends on how long you want to keep the truck, budget and if you tow. The 3L's are very cheap compared to the 4.2 but once you have a look at the power curves ...

Yep...only one class, but there will be optional hard tracks. Frank, we haven't forgotten about the modified competitors, there will be enough optional hard tracks to test the live axle Bitsa.....I'd say that your Navi better be up to scratch with their navigational skills, being one class means ...

10,000lb Warn in ARB bar on GU Patrol
Hi all,
Can you install a 10,000lb Warn winch in an ARB bar after it has been fitted to a GU Patrol? I know you can get a 9000lb in and out but the 10,000 is a big beast!!

So have you got them on an Isuzu? What are your thoughts on them? Noel I had the ball joint spacers on my 2000 Rodeo and was the only way to get a good wheel alingment after a torsion bar crank. I also cut the bump stops. I had the leaves in the rear reset with extra leaf to match the front. In all ...
