Can anyone recommend an engineer in or near Ipswich.
I am after a mod plate for an engine conversion.
Cheers.

Surf 2.4 TD in 85 lux.
Looking at buying an 85 model lux with Surf 2.4 TD running gear in it.
Works well but it is not mod plated.
What else needs to be done to keep it legal ? Brakes etc.
I know they did come out like this in the Surfs but not the Hi Lux's. Any advice is appreciated.
Cheers.

Who does engineered coil conversions ?
Am looking at doing a 3 link in the back of my 94 single cab hilux ute, but I am having trouble finding any one who does this work. I want it to be street rego'd, hence engineered and plated. I may do it myself if the paperwork side is not to bad, but would prefer to just drive in and drive out. Any...

Right o, cheers for the clarification. The model utes I have been looking at are around the 95 - 96 model, thus making them the 300 Tdi engine. Is this engine just a touch more refined then the 200Tdi and got electronics ie: you can chip it ? Any other differences ? Have been looking on the MR Autom...

Bonnet struts.
Does anyone have a link to a good site that sells bonnet struts ? The local bloke wants $140 for 2 GU Patrol struts and it sounds a little pricey to me.
Cheers.

Economical 4x4's post up your L / 100Km
Just wondering what every one's opinions are on any economical 4x4. I know the new CRD's are returning great figures but do you know of any other rigs that are not too thirsty yet capable ? I understand that a modified rig will drink more (i have a patrol 4.2TD with lift, tyres, barwork etc.) but am...

Rockcrawler VS X flex (Snake Racing) leaf springs
Has anyone tried either of these brands of leaf springs ?
Im looking at the comfort/light duty packs for a better ride on the road, and before anyone says "take a few leafs out" - the leafs i have are extra heavy duty and there not designed to ever be comfortable !

Dont forget that leafs have drum brakes and coils have disk's too. Mud4b have you done a coil conversion thats been engineered and a daily driver or mostly comp style stuff ? I have looked into it too, but the thing that stopped me was the paperwork. If your staying in the one state it's fine. Howev...
