If you can get a hold of a suzuki GV or XL7 V6 (2.5, 2.7) even better. Its all alloy and is out of a 4wd (sump clearance and is designed to get wet and dirty) and best of all it's still a zook.

Do you have any probs with the tyres hitting the 5 link on full lock or full lock and full compression???? Nice work so far and if you don't mind me asking,how much was the jap import motor and box???? Jamie They just rub, the MQ diffs help alot $2500 for the complete engine,box, transfer,harness ...

when i get the motor going, having some problem with ecm should sort it out next week.
Then mount the coilovers, get an engineers report, blueslip, fill it up with fuel, then lock the hubs :)

tray not finished yet, have to fit coilover shocks
no sump problems diff clears it, mainly guard interferance on the front

I know the tires are back to front( only one wheel nut on too), at that stage i was seting up the position of the front diff, if u look closely their are no springs etc and the chassi is on the stands. The g-box stick comes out between the old hole and the transfer hole. I moved the rear diff back ...

Has anyone done or seen this conversion?

I'm doing it and it fits no problem, just have to widen the tunnel to fit the XL7/GV box.
