They ar different diameter coils so if you wanted to you could do it but would need to change your spring mounts.

No. The front shocks are the same pin/pin type but the Patrol ones are shorter. all the other parts are different.

Re: what causes a shakle to invert

If your stupid enough to let the piston fall out, it still wont affect the adjustment of the clutch in any way. If you adjust the pushrod on the pedal it will and some have adjustable pushrods on the slave but you shouldn't need to touch them.

Re: what causes a shakle to invert

A Hydraulic clutch should not need adjusting unless the owner has tried to adjust it themselves to try and get a bit more life out of it. They were designed as a set and forget thing at the factory and should only need adjusting if the hydraulics are replaced.

Re: 3" lift help needed

A decent 35mm bore steering damper is all you need dont bother with the return to centre. With the lower arms if you do them, get std length unless you will be doing a 1/4 chop or the wheels will get jammed into the back of the wheel arches. iI would recommend some upper adjustable arms to allow for ...

Re: Cant bleed brakes on hilux

If its a seal in the master cyl then the pedal will drop slowly with pressure on it. it could be air or it could be not enough fluid output from the master cyl. are there any bubbles coming out when you re-bleed the brakes or not? if no air I would say the output is too small for the larger calipers ...

Re: Cant bleed brakes on hilux

This should only need adjusted if there is too much free board in the brake pedal and normally wont need to be adjusted from the factory settings unless aftermarket parts are used that may have slightly different tolerances. If its not done right and there is slight pressure on the Reaction Disk ...

Re: Cant bleed brakes on hilux

be very careful if you adjust the pushrod in the booster as if done incorrectly it can cause a violent brake application. As said above use a clear hose and a bottle with some clean fluid in it and get someone to watch the hose for bubbles while you pump away. Never pump the pedal all the way to the ...

Re: 80 series springs in a 105???

It depends on the brand of coils as Dobinsons use different part numbers for the 80 to the 105. they will fit fine but 105 coils are heavier to do the same work as an 80. Shocks are the same for both vehicles.

Re: Cant bleed brakes on hilux

Replace the master cylinder and you will be fine. It sounds like the increased fluid capacitiy in the callipers is too much for the master cyl to give a full application. If not the secondary piston may be stuck in the master cyl. Give it a tap on the end with a hammer to free it up. What method are ...

More likely a faulty master cylinder. If with pressure applied the pedal is still sinking and bottoms out then the seals are gone and fluid is leaking past them.

The problem on the Triton is not how much you can lift the front its how much you can lift the rear. As I do work in a suspension shop and have been a mechanic for 15 years im pretty sure I know what im on about. The Triton will get a drive line vibration above about 35mm due to the driveshaft ...

I recommend replacing the bars if you have a winch as the originals will sag off quicker with the new weight on them. If you want you can just keep adjusting the original ones as they sag or spring for the new ones and not have to worry. You wont get 50mm out of your vehicle though maybe more like ...
