Probably the head gasket but here's another possiblity, Is your auto fluid cooled through your radiator or do you run tranny cooler? I had a an old commodore that would overheat with plenty of airflow, and it had new rad water pump and so on. Turned out that the tranny was running way to hot and ...

Hey mate,
the shorter CV / axles are out of the cab chassis, i had the reverse prblem when i snapped an axle in mine new one was too long. had a bit of trouble finding one through wreckers so probably worth trying to sell it

Yeah looks bad ha ha, did a bit of damage easter weekend, bent most of the front suspension going into a big ass hole, so instead of fixing i'm converting to coils bought a wagon and was going to swap the bodies but found a sh!t load of rust. so now taking the back off the ute and it's going on the ...

Hay mate,
mine fouled on the sump when i bent a leaf, otherwise had no issues with not running the swaybar, with 2ich lift and 35's.

My 88 GQ ute (2ich spring's and 35's) kept up with my mates SWB (3inch springs 2 inch body and 35's) almost everywhere and mine only has open diffs.
for flex just take leafs out works well apart from a little sag

G'day, Looking at putting the gauge cluster out of the doner mav into my ute, as its got oil press, volts and so on. Just wondering if anyone has done this before and is it a heap of work stripping the senders and so on out of the mav's loom? should i bother or just go for aftermarket gauges? Cheers ...

i run a excedy sports tuff clutch in my supercharged GQ (runs10 psi) its only about 4 weeks old now but handles the power and feels good under the foot.

G'day, i've got an 88 cab chassis with 35" maxxis trepadors on a 2" leafs, didn't rub until i took the sway bar out. they worked well on rocks and some mud on the long weekend couldn't fault them, i've also heard they wear well, i've only just got them so cant say myself about wear. hope it helps

G'day,
i bought an 88 cab chassis off ebay for $2600
it came with a yella terra charger, 33's and a custom tray.
obviously it was a little rough but cab is rust free
so there are cheap ones out there
