GQ Leafy issue

Post by tufftruckin »

What would cause the front diff flange on a 98 GQ TD42 leaf sprung ute to foul on the side of the sump?

It has 2'' suspension lift, 2'' Superior extended anti inversion shackles & no sway bar!

Has only done it once when driving a rut which was sloped down on the drivers side a fair bit.

the front flexes extremely well, better than my mates GU with 4'' lift

would the removal of the swaybar have this effect?
An ounce of precaution is better than a ton of cure!

Hay mate,
mine fouled on the sump when i bent a leaf, otherwise had no issues with not running the swaybar, with 2ich lift and 35's.
