Sorry for the hijack, but my 2wd 05 3.5 rodeo has always seemed to be gutless for a v6, about to do 100k service, new plugs and valve adjustment should do the trick but was wondering if replacing the standard muffler/cat gives much improvement to around town performance?

That would be 50mm extended shackle, which gives you 25mm lift, if you do the front, it will muck up your caster a bit, makes your car a bit all over the place in a straight line, so you will need caster correction wedges. Talk to superior engineering for advise in what you need.

If there is too much wear on the cylinder itself, you should consider a brake specialist, i don't think it costs too much for a rebuilt master cylinder. Give South coast brake resleeving a bell for a price first, on the gold coast. From memory a master cylinder was about $200 to $300, (dont quote me ...

Using longer shocks in Hilux, any benefits?

G'day all, have just put new 3" springs in the lux with extended shackles, was wondering if i can use longer shocks than designed, to make them work without compressing shock i have to either extend bumpstop or lift shock mount at front 35mm and rear is 80mm, but extension is an extra 160mm rear and ...
