Just for reference I have a Spartan locker in the rear of my hilux and I really don't like how it disengages and pops for that reason I wouldn't fit one to the front because I would be worried of the shock loading on my cvs I don't know anyone else running one so I dont know if its normal

From what I have been told solid will be stronger then hollow however hollow will not flex as much but if you were to bend the two solid will except more angle and return to its orginal shape where hollow will not fully return atleast this is what I have been told

hey ive got an ifs box in the hilux and it has developed a leak from the input shaft so my question is how do i tell what model box it is to get a seal kit? who sells seal kits and how do i get the ball bearings back into the drum after i pull the shaft out

how high is it? in the front it is about 4 inch i think so its not that high the reason i have alot of springs in the rear pack is to get it higher i know its not going to work i just dont want it looking stupid and driving like crap and i cant really lower the front as it is ruf with droped member ...

i have moved my shackle mount already to suit the ifs leaves im having dramas due to the fact im running 150mm shackles at about 40 degree's so i have no height out of them so i have packed in springs i think i have 10 in there also a 1 inch block as the rear of the car sat 4 inches to low and with ...

hate to tell u bud but ruf and ifs setup and a locktup set up invole the same work infact from what locktup have told me its more work in the rear as both front spring location and shackle points have to be moved in terms of shocks go with what you can afford as you will kill them at some point ...

you get what you pay for whats why pwr and aussie desert coolers cost much more, it would be better if it was a twin pass rad but the disadvantage of aluminium rads is if they get blocked you throw them away you cant open them up and clean them out like copper rads just my 2 cents

I have a 3 inch on my Hilux any bigger and it would look stupid in my eyes I made mine from aluminum bends from supercheap not as strong as stainless but I couldn't get stainless on the day (last min decision to make it) it cost me 200 at retail and some time to weld it up haven't buckled it yet
