Iv piggy backed the ignition wire to power both switches, so now im thinking about what you mentioned about back feeding.
Iv also changed my winch solenoid to an Albright , could it be back feeding from that ?
Im going to try using a diode between the two switches.

Carling Switch illumination problem
Iv just installed two momentary in cab winch switches and they are 5 pin Carling's. Now here is my problem , when one switch is activated for use , both upper lights on both switches come on at the same time. But the switch being used is doing its job, and the other lights up at the same time even ...

Im pretty sure that it is grounded by mounting tabs that hold the solenoid .
And that thin wire was to ground the pack that was mounted to the motor originally .
But I just want to make sure

Iv almost finished replacing my 8274-50 Solenoid pack with an Albright.
My question is, dose the Albright need to use the thin earth wire leading from
the OE 4-pack of solenoids to the winch earth
