$20 grand, hey. not even close dude.
This dingaling doesn't have they joy of writing it off on tax deductions or buying over priced gear either and getting ripped off on offroad gear.
So if you can get figures close to that out of a HZ then well done, all bolt on gear is it?

Re: Bolt on turbo upgrdae - 13BT/12HT/1HDT and 1HDFT
Fairly easy to ask for a dig when quoting off topic engine figures Oh my king and I guess some of us digalings are having a go out there instead of just reading all Patrol power gains. http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t379/58bernie/Dyno19April2013.jpg and that was back then with a clutch that ...

Re: Bolt on turbo upgrdae - 13BT/12HT/1HDT and 1HDFT
If we all put our toys away, the aftermarket 4x4 industry would be almost non-existent and our wives would be sick of us around the house all the time and not being in the shed soon enough. I don't need to drive 8000 km,tow it all and the kitchen sink, all the good places are on the east coast ...

Can you take it back for warranty or maybe do a back trade, seen better figures out of a 1HD-FT.

Re: Upping fuel on a 1HZ turbo
If the fuel screw is wound in too far which I would suggest is the problem, than back it off CCW, it's sitting up on the high speed governor and that is why you can't back off the rpm at idle. Back it off about 3/4 turn and you will be in roughly a better tune area with AFR anyway.

Not 100% on this but in QLD there must be paperwork from a licensed gas installer to certify the install before a mod plate can be fitted.

Re: 80 series hardnto change gears
I changed to the Redline MT90, will never run anything else.
Gear changes are smooth and easy and it has reduced the low speed high torque noise.

Re: 1HD-FT into 80 Series
Good question Dan, I don't think Toyota would have written a spec for 700Nm maybe the some have tried to go beyond the 700 and found they break so, 700 has been called the working limit. As far as I knew the FTE had a different piston crown and electronic controlled injection timing and differences ...

Re: 1HD-FT into 80 Series
I cut this from offroad80's and it's Graeme's reply to questions raided about his turbos, I'm sure he won't mind me doing that. I have one of his grunter2 turbo's and am wrapped in it. [quote] Other than the exhaust housing on some FT’s and a minor (1-1.5psi) increase in boost pressure between the 1 ...

I have had the same. undo the lines out of the LSPV and see if any fluid comes out, if nothing it's your LSPV seized, well it was on mine.

Re: Bolt on turbo upgrdae - 13BT/12HT/1HDT and 1HDFT
if 4x4 Northside will post the data from the dyno run in this thread and at no cost to me they can do a dyno run with it. How's that for customer satisfaction for Graeme's turbos without me getting a kick back, but willing to take one. ;) Why would Northside4x4 want to do a free dyno run for you to ...

Re: Bolt on turbo upgrdae - 13BT/12HT/1HDT and 1HDFT
I have just installed 1 of Graeme's turbos into my 80 series with an FT and while I still have not tuned it to Graeme's specs yet, I am so impressed and still only running @ 18psi boost. I work away and at present that is where I am, but as soon as i get home it is getting done. I am happy to take ...
