rc colorado: thai made BTV lift kits - safe?
i have a rc colorado and i am looking at these as they dont lift the front using torsion bars but by using arms and what not
my question is has anyone used these thai made kits for any period of time and how is the workmanship of these kits

Issues with fitting 305/70/16 on 10inch wide rim and no lift
i have a 08 RC colorado and i bought some 16x10 mickey thompson rims
i dont particularly want to lift the car but i want to fit suitable tyres which are 305/70/16
will there be any clearance/rubbing issues?
can i fit 285/70/16 on a 10inch wide rim?
this car will see 99% of its life on the road ...

Since both have been suggested for a GQ TD42, what's the differance between GQ 4.2EFI brakes and GU 4.8EFI brakes?

Physical size and different calipers. You would somehow need to mount the calipers which wont bolt up to the stock GQ mount positions, then run 17inch ...

the reason for the change was the Auto locking hub version
Early Auto hub versions were locking in on their own in 2WD. It was found that the use of Gear oil in the transfer case was too thick and on the chain would cause it to slowly spin the front tailshaft, this would cause the CV's to spin up ...
