I will go out on a limb and say a koh style event for standard vehicles would be a hoot. The terrain is easily found and the difficulty is still there.

Not to put a downer on things, but i can't see it happening solely due to the lack of terrain like johnson valley here in OZ.

Maybe somewhere like Mannar would be a OK place but it would be nothing like the hammers.

I would be saving my $$$ for a trip to the states.

Why can't you drill and tap into the housing on the same side as the locker ring. There looks to be enough room there.

There is no way you can remove the strain on the engine from forced induction. It will help if you intercool it and run minimal boost (10psi). There are no garuantees my friend!

The Issues with the 1HZ and turbo really come about by guys setting them up and trying to get the 1HZ to run similar to the 1HD Turbo. To do that they had to boost them up quite high (i think 14 - 15 pounds) after they realised that Pistons were melting and no one knew what a pyro gauge was for ...

The 10 sec rule was to stop people taking too much time to fix things , breakage , rock stacking etc and keep things rolling , maybe DNF if stationary for more than a minute. I dunnow , make a suggestion.

I think it would handle been driven daily, i saw my old lux a few months ago and it was still the original hitch and rubber.

However i don't think you would have any chance of it been engineered for on road use.

POS your concerns about seat time is something we discuss at every round while setting out courses. As you would know from Werock events enough judges is one of the hardest limiting factors.
