Just a thought you could make it alot easier on yourself and get a coil gu wagon base n make new mounts n put ur cab on that??? also move your fuel tank up higher so it doesnt hit by rocks.

do that reg like you are saying, warning light is controlled by your external reg. is fairly cheap for a new one too. dont stuff around with a 2nd hand one. the other thing to consider is, have you jump started another vehicle arse up (connected jump leads incorrect). if this is the case the ...

you dont really need that green wire, its just for idiots not pulling the hand brake on to park with timer running, hook it to earth to bypass that feature.
