Re: triton 4x4 single cab
welcome, the 2 inch body lift you can pick up on fleabay for about $100, the front torsion bars can just get wound up a little, and just use another stock fuel tank as an aux tank and keep the pump and everything inside, all these things are what I have done to my own MJ. You can have a look at my ...

Re: turbo on a 4g54?
hi again, if your saying your goal is a happy reliable, then an aftermarket ecu is a must in my view, also as V6triton said, I would probably go a high flow pump as well (something like a BOSCH 910 or 044). your high compression would be the first hurdle, as to run some sort of good boost to be ...

Re: turbo on a 4g54?
hey mate, welcome, first of all im no expert but i have own alot of turbo cars before my 4x4days, and the 10:1 comp ratio does seem a little high but like your mate said, provided you dont boost it over 5-6 psi you should be fine. Anything over that and you will pop your head gasket. I cant see the ...

Hey mate,
This exact senario has happened to me. My alternator stopped charging so I also took it to someone to rebuild it, when shortly after it stopped working again. They told me that they did everything correctly and that the alternator itself was toast and I was left to bite the bullet and ...

i would have to agree tritontray, when I put my bigger rubber on my fuel economy went out the window along with my torque. I lost a full 100km per tank and and everything it had down low. The only thing I picked up was off road traction....

how do you go with articulation? Do your tyres rub your guards? looks like your cab isnt lifted, with my 305/70/16's, my tyres still hit even with 2 inch cab lift and a guard trim.

Re: Top lights
dont know if this is right but I used thicker wire and joined 2 lights to the one power wire and ground wire. So I halved the amount of cable running down. you should have 2 power cables and 2 groung wires coming down then. I have had mine wired like this with no prolems at all. make sure the wire ...

hey mate, Im not sure if you can see from this photo but I made up my own "rack" to keep my lights on and zip-tied the electrical wires down the rack, just past my drip rails and through the cab there. I think they may even be bigger than 33s, they are 305/75/16s, so I think thats something like 34?? But yeah, I had to take about 2-3 inches of the guard and adjust my steering lock stops out further to stop the tyre rubbing on my idler arms on either side. I must have the worst turning circle going ...
