Terrano cutting out
I have a 1998 terrano ii and every now and then it cuts out, so I turn everything off and on a few times and try to start it (it only cranks in between), then when it finally starts again the emission control system light stays on for five minutes or so then turns off...its drinking diesel lately ...

I've been running 31's for most of the 4years i've had mine and they've been fine. I've been running maxxis buckshots (on my 2nd set now, got 95000ks out of first set) and have only noticed they scrub inside the front guards at the top when fully flexed. I find them better on the highway than the 29 ...

I've got a F75 rocky had it for about 4 yrs and love it. It's the t/d version, leaf sprung so not the best ride for touring I would suggest IFS, although mine has done some k's touring and me and the kids don't seem to mind it, puts the kids to sleep. I've done over 100 000k's in mine and has had no ...

The 93 rocky standard weighs 1625kg with a 2.8l engine with 75kw. The 94 feroza weighs around 1250kg with a 1.6l engine with 70kw. But the rocky has a shite load more torque with 245nm whereas the feroza only has 128nm, that is the reason why I love my rocky so much cause it eats the hills, doesn't ...

I am running those maxxis mudder tyres on it, they aren't too bad a tyre I thought for cheapos, and have got about 25psi in the tyres. I have found the rocky to go alot further than alot of other fourbies in some situations (especially mud and sand), we went with some friends in landrovers, one had ...

Looking at buying a feroza!!
We currently have a t/d rocky and are looking at buying a feroza as a second car. We have our eye on a 1991 model for $5000, has 220,000kms on the clock and is in pretty good overall condition, is this a good deal? What are they like compared to the rockys in performance etc, anything info would be ...

Try your temp sensor We had heaps of problems with our TD rocky when we first got it. Everytime it was going up a steep hill or under load on a hot day, it got very hot. So I changed the thermostat, added a thermo fan, flushed out the system a few times, new radiator, was starting to get real pi**ed ...

When the rocky is in 1st gear and under load, at high revs, it sometimes jumps out of gear. We have a 2in suspension lift in our rocky and the only problem we have is the front tyres tend to just touch inside the front guard, so we are going to put in some slightly bigger shackle to compensate.
