So I gather all thats needed to fit the EL unit is to replace pulleys and grind mount to fit. Anything else required?

Ok,Ive got electronic conversion Crane fireball,GT40R coil and nippon denso w20es-u spark plugs but still runs like crap( not always though).
Mine still has the resistor fitted though,is this correct as I thought ud get rid of resistor wen goin electronic! Shes also dual fuel so im going to do plugs ...

Its a breather for your distributor,fit a hose to it & silicone the joint between cap and dizzy body and you have a near watertight dizzy. Thats how mine came.

Yeah mine was only $55 & in good nick so I grabbed it,knew it was a GQ unit with minimal difference. After reading all posts i'll upgrade to a GU unit & draglink at later date. Thanx for the info guys,much appreciated.

Cheers 5inch,thought i was on the money as its only 15mm diffrence between the 2. Will be upgrading draglinks etc in future as well.

My 89s got a leaky OEM unit and I bought 1 off a 94,also an OEM. Upon making sure it would all be good i noticed the diameter off the shaft into pitman arm of 94 is larger diam ' than 89 and the distance between centres of arm and pitman bolt are different..
Will this pose a problem wen fitting up ...
