Sourced the problem to being a broken left hand side engine mount. Under torque the engine would lift to the right taking the gearbox with it and hitting the gearstick on the floor pan.

Hey everyone i took my 83 60 series cruiser out for its first off road run today and besides the leaking rear seal on the transfer case its got a problem of popping out of low rang 4wd and in to 2wd. Ah ok then. Considering 80% of the time will be spent on road and off road will be more touring then anything the ifs should suffice then.

92 hilux surf fuel consumption
Hey all. I'm looking at buying a 92 surf auto diesel and am wondering what the fuel consumption would be like with it seeing that i do a 140km round trip to work 5 days a week. What economy can i expect or will my $100 a week in fuel goal go out the window with it.
