Kit has bit of plywood and car carpet with a piano hinge.
Works well and kit probably saves a lot of work.
End result is pretty small volume because of body framework but useful for all the electronic bits you collect eg phone charger, battery charger, laptop leads etc etc.

Recently had sub tank issues on 99GU. Guage showed empty when full and wouldn't pump over.
Mech advised to re-set pump by disconnecting batt earth for a minute and then re fit. This resets pump circuit and all now good.
PS I had three replacement pumps fitted in first few thou but no more probs ...

Re GU rear spring retainers its common on std GUs on driver;s side and sometines pass too.
My Gu only set up for touring and RH side cracked after 300 thou.
Had replacement and major strengthining gussets both sides.
Was told more prone of polyair bags fitted.
