Put a small slice in the side of one at Willowglen last year, had it vulcanised and worked a treat until 2weekends ago and let go again. Really can't afford to buy another tyre at the moment so looking ...

Reviving black plastic bumpers??
Just wondering what recommendations people have for getting those old black plastic bumpers, flares and external trims back to a shiney finish??
Preferably some products that are non silicon based would be great as they just seem to get more dust and sh!t stuck to them.

Re: GQ cal cv's or heat treated??
I have not tried Haultech's so i cant comment on those. My opinion is if it is a choice between aftermarket or cal's i would choose cal's. Cals are manufactured with a bit thicker bel and smaller balls than OEM so in theory if both NTN and Cals have perfect heat threating than the cals will be ...

Re: moving gearbox crossmember
Anything can be done champ, though your best bet would be to go see an engineer first..... especially as it'll be modifying the chassis!! I'd probably go see the engineer that certified the 454 conversion first as he should have details of all the mods for your car on file.... and then take it from ...

Re: Rim offset 80 Series V GU
16 inch wheels will bolt up no worries and make the tire sit much nicer near the flared wheel arch on a patrol instead of making it look like a transit van on a mini wheel track. 15 inch rims don't alwasy fit on a GU. You need to test fit them and make sure you have enough clearance on the caliper ...

Re: Air Lockers from the US/Europe?
the locker box i got was about 250mmx250mmx250mm. i reckon it was less then 300mm cubed. that was a brand new locker for rear of a landcruiser 3yrs back. i found at the time it was slightly cheaper here in aus then OS. but it took some haggling $888+GST pickup from ARB newy. Can't say I'm too good ...

I work between AUS and the USA and have been looking at sending parts home for a while. If you use freight companies like UPS and FEDEX freight will be $200 plus per package.
