The seats in my ute have finally lost the cushioning. Before I pay to re upholster them I was wondering if there is another seat combo that would fit. Some say commodore seats bolt in but was after more positive advice. Cheers

had to relocate some wireing near clutch pedal. When I looked underneath near the clutch pedal theres oil over the wireing. Where would it be coming from?

The tank is standard (under cab.) undid the sender but couldnt work out how to remove. wire harness didnt seem to want to come off.

When the tank is on enpty and I fill it, it takes nearly 20 kms for the guage to start to register. Is this the guage or the sender? Cheers

Injector pump 1HZ
When putting the foot down it gets to a point and wont go any harder but when i back the throttle off a bit it picks up more revs. Pump overhaul ??. Cheers guyd for any help

I have been thinking of putting a turbo on my 1HZ. A friend has told me that by doing so, the it will blow the output shaft on the gearbox as it was not designed for a turbo. Is this a myth or fact. Can someone help me. My 75 series originaly had 31 x 10.5 tyres on it and was revving its arse off. I changed the tyres to 33 x 12.5 x 15. Not revving as hard but at 100 km/h it still revs at 2400 rpm. My mate has the same size tyres and his revs at 1800rpm. Is it the diff ratios?. If so how do i ...

Had similar problem with my hzj75. Changed the filter and used a bottle of wynns diesel conditioner in a full tank of fuel straight after. Fuel ecconomy picked up considerably. If you use the additive every 2nd tank it will benifit the injectors as well as your fuel pump. You can use it in every ...

I think thats what the previous owner has done. the mounting brackets are there but the filter has been removed for the secondary filter.

Looking at the workshop manual, it says that the 1HZ has a secondary fuel filter. Mine doesnt. I have an 93 75 series. Is it needed or not? If it is, is there much to installing one?
