So i had a guy offer me $1200 for the diffs with airlockers in them, i told him he can take the whole car for $1500 and he said he would have to think about. Am i asking too much??

The only tip i can give you is, make sure the "filliment" on the HID bulb which looks like a bubble, that contains the xenon sits where the original filliment did in the old bulb. So if the old bulbs filliment stuck out 40mm from where it was mounted the HID's xenon "bubble" should be in the same ...

I have a gu ute as well so was sort of leaning toward selling it either fixed and on the road or wrecking it.
By the sounds of it, wrecking it would net me the most cash.... and that means new stuff for the patrol.

Just use the coil diff if it is the right ratio. Theres not that much welding, it's more the measuring and such that will take a while as it needs to be perfect, once everything is tacked into place, a half decent welder/boily could weld it up in half an hour. Oh and your better off using the coil ...

Nah not yet man, i just need a coil diff. A mate has the mounts i need. ill wait to get my tax and get a long arm kit and adjustable upper arms.

why not do a proper 5 link front and triangulated 4 link rear using jonnie joints if you are going to make the effort to do a coil conversion . Yeah it's coil in the front already, im now looking at doing a triangulated 4 link in the ass end with coil overs thanks to a suggestion from another forum ...

Probably a silly reply, but have you given the fins in your radiator a good clean out? You would be surprised at the amount of grass, grass seeds, insects, dirst etc that builds up over time, my trol was actually overheatng for the same reason
