ok awesome thanks mate cosin don a swap for a hilux was a 2.8 but has bottom end damage and said would give me the head if it would fit you 100% sure it will fit and be ok and enything special to do to fit it

Hey quick question on the top shift kits what do they actuly do and if you cant get a 1st gen transfur can you put the top shift kit in so you can use two of later model ones like out of a 84 ln65 for dules

Ok thanks for that bit of info cos mine is actuly a 84 ln65 so thats why mine dont have the holes to move the studs

Thanks for the link ay was realy good i saw the head had the other holes where you could change the studs but i checked mine and it looked like it actuly didnt have any other holes to move the studs ever happen or seen or heard of it befor ? thanks

Yeah thanks i got them to fit they wer a cheep set of lifted / load carying ones witch just had been bended for extra hight i just had to put load on the the center of the spring witch made them flaten out enough to locate and bolt it up to the diff then put a little botle jack between the chasis an...

Hey i am doing a suspention swap for my uncal from a hj60 1985 to his other hj60 with is a 1984 and it seems like the springs out of the 1985 are shorter by at least 2 1/2" is that right ?

So it would sit to high in the fornt if you dont remove the load leafs completly i was gonna take then out but the bolt / pin in the center was to seased and rusted so i cut the load leafs down or should i realy take them out

Dudelux you know how you said you wer going to remove the tow load leafs form the rear packs for yours what if you cut them down in stages and shorten them whould that be ok

Yeah i came across that yesterday had so much info and details was good So hav you don the ruf on yours now did you say and your just have the stock pack with out the load leaf ?if so how dos that go
