79Series 3-4'' suspension
Hey jus upgraded my old 88 75 to a 79ute, wanting around 3-4'' lift n run 315's.
Now iv got a few questions, its got a lift in it (2'' aprox) ironman foamcells up front, ome shocks up back, leaves unknown but seam lifted a bit, dobinson coils front. Nice n comfey but the rear shock is leaking after ...

I know the 12ht runs a bigger radiator in the 60 series..
have you upgraded the radiator in the 75?
viscous coupling is usually the other culprit......
yeah your right but it winter 5deg outside atm up here n iv ran that setup over 2summers n it never got hot

Overheating HJ75 12HT
Hey my HJ75 with 12HT motor overheats. Goes to max on temp gauge sometimes within seconds, then back to run temp in very short time...
Rad has no grass seeds, mud etc blocking it, in side of rad looks n flows good, brand new water pump, brand new Toyota 82deg thermostat, flushed motor several times ...

ah ok so it might b quickest and easyest to jus fit 79 axles complete, and maybe do a 6stud hub conversion.

yeah jus wanna see wat other ppl have done, i might get a new idear.
in my old land rovers i used to fit nissan pintara seats, nice comfy, narrow enough n fitted good in a smmall cab haha

I have a HJ75 5speed manual (H55F)
Running 35s on factory diff ratios, that i belive are 4.11
Now i want to mainly fit 79series axle assemblys F&R, with 79series diffs 4.3 ratio. What final drive ratio would i get back to? 33s?
As atm its just a bit high geared

I would also just get the arb ones fixed again - but somewhere different - people either seem to have no trouble or lots of trouble with air lockers.

I know 2 people that have the cheaper lockers and both of them have not had any problems. Both of them are only running small tires. 31s on a zook and 33s on a lux. the zook it running iut in the rear the lux has it in the front. Both have been in there for about 6 months now and none have any ...

They are made in GuangZhou in China which is where I fly in and out for work. I'm trying to get some time there to be able to drop in and visit the factory. I've already spoken with them and they are really interested in me dropping by. I just haven't been able to organise it with my flights done ...
