yeah im pretty sure he has them at home but i would have to ask him to take them with them in the plane or buy them here...
hes probably more into the newer cars...
about how much are the parts?

looks like my maverick has a crack in the head gasket :(
...how much would a mechanic take to do the job around sydney ?
and as a mechanic friend is comming to visit me soon...
what kind of tool would he need to do it his own?

im looking for spare driving belts for my 1990 4,2l diesel maverick...
i already read around a bit and it seems like there are some difficults with the right size for the nissan gq...
so there are probably the same problems to find the right one for my maverick?
only the fanbelt seems to be easy ...

i have an aftermarket immobiliser which i can only unlock by touching my unlocker to it...
i thought of making a spare key and asked various locksmiths and nobady has that stuff...
its the green gadget at the right...

yeah i think its getting a bit better while driving faster, but due to you are only allowed to drive 110 here cant really check out :lol:
but i called the dude who sold it to me if he had the same problem before he changed the two front tyres...
and he said no...
so hopefully its really only the ...

bought shell helix hx 5 diesel now...
if i also change the filter how mush oil should i out in?
the manuel says there fit 9 liters in if you also change teh filter

finally got my maverick now :D
...and hope its ok to post in the nissan forum :?
...its really nice ( i will update my members thread...) ... but at 95km/h it starts vibrating and bouncing ...
it doesnt feel that bad but its like 94 km still smooth and from now to then that different ...

ok so im stying in herston / kelvin grove
i have been to ralphs gargae to check a van and really can recommend it!
now im on a ford maverick and maybe need a new(used) windscreen
so i think i need a good wrecker and than a garage or maybe get to ralphs again... any tipps?

im thinking of buying a 1990 ford maverick 4,2l diesel with 440k...
is it similar to the gq or another modell? (mq, gu....)
and is there anything special i should check on befor letting it check in a garage?
and fitting a roofrack shouldn't be that difficult?

i found a patrol mq that i might be interested in...
so what are the main difference to a gq?
is it as easy to get parts for a mq as for a gq eg in the outback? and is it as "easy" to repair as the gq?
would really help me to get these questions answered
