Re: oil change
My 4.2 TD took 2 filters and pretty much a full 10 litres for an oil change.
Re: oil change
I dont get 2 services out of a 20ltr drum
changing both filters i reckon it takes 10 1/2 litres td42 silver top

If i just overtook you head to your nearest mechanic
Re: oil change
With that 4.2 there are a couple of different filter numbers that may be applicable. Make sure you get the right ones.surfboarder wrote:hi

Otherwise - give it a quick run to warm the oil, drop it out and do not get burnt removing the plug, change the filters and make sure you put the plug back in before you start to pour in the new oil. Its a truck engine so make sure you have a big enough oil pan to hold the 10 or so litres that will come out.
