Good move, I had a AXT turbo fitted, intercooler and mandrel 2.5" exhaust,,,to my 1998 5L, outstanding performance, about $2500 all up and worth every cent...

Sorry guys, it's a 5L not 5LE so the chip is out, and my real question is what is the best turbo for it, do I have to do any other mods to the engine, or should I just keep it for the farm and go buy a Patrol 4.2TD tray,,, I got myself a boat which is pretty hard going towing with the Lux...thanks ...

Thanks, not sure what brand it was but I am sure that bearing was replaced, do you know what causes it as I don't flog the hilux, I do tow a small tinnie though,,,,

Hi Starting to get a little worried about the clutch on my 98 5L hilux, 140,000klms on the clock new heavy duty clutch installed at 105,000 klms,,when I disengage the clutch to change gear (pedal down to the floor) I get a distinct clicking noise coming from the bell housing, this has been happening ...

Yeah I put a set of foam ones on about 5000 klm ago, I'm really happy with them better than the OME's I had before...great improvement on and off road..
