I have a 4.5P I utilised the original cat. The guy told me to save my money. He just cut it further up the pipe to fit 2 1/2". I have PaceMakers headers with 2 1/2". One straight muffler and 1 straight resonator out the back. Still get a minor drone but the radio fixes that. Glad i didn't blow the ...

Thanks for everyone's replies. I take them all into consideration but replies from people that actually have a 4.5 (GU obviously) petrol AUTO with 33" are especially relevant. I tried mine in low range (stock) and I had it up to 100km/h. It still had a bit to go if i wanted it to. So hitting 50km ...

Plenty of speed for sand to stay in low range for petrol motors. Revs are a bit too high though for those speeds with diesel ...

hi all i've read the thread in the bible about the transfer gears. I want to be able to go down hills without touching the brakes. At the moment the GU is an Elephant on skates. Having read the thread, i'm leaning towards the 85%. But down the bottom 'AndrewPatrol' fitted 43% and said it holds alot ...

I own a 4.5 petrol Gu. I average 18.9L/100kkm. On highway i'm down to 16.5L City can be high as 21L. As said prior, depends on driving style. Just nede to get use to the torque on the vehicle. around 2000rpm is nice. I know pacemaker extractors and 2 1/2" exhaust, snorkle and a unichip raises the ...
