Thanks. :) Are petrol and Diesels boosters the same? Is the one that you measured petrol or Diesel? I am guessing the 2wd would be different too.

I can post some pics tomorrow. What pics would be the most helpful? The caliper end looks original Nissan and the handbrake end has been adapted to the zook handle. The short Nissan cable look the same, just shorter then what I need.

Hilux/Runner/Surf Master cylinder questions

I am thinking of a Hilux diff upgrade for my Zook and the Engineer is telling me that to make things easier (for him  ) that I should fit the booster and master cylinder from the same vehicle. From my searches the V6 Runner is a upgrade to a std hilux MC and booster, but I have size restraints ...

Rear disc handbrake cable?

I have a Skyline/Pintara rear disc brake set up (Was on the zook when I got it) and I need to replace one of the handbrake cables. The Skylines that I have looked under have a dual cable system like mine, but the cable from each caliper is shorter then mine as it joins to a single cable that ...

So let me get this right, you have no idea what it is worth, so you ask here, a member who buys and sells Suzuki parts tells you around $2500, someone else tells you how much a Daihatsu engine is worth, and you disregard Joe's advice based on what you paid for a completely different engine ...

I think $2500 is a little steep too. I bought a 1.6l front cut years ago for $1500. I think I will make an offer well below $2500 to get negotiations started.

$2500  Does that include the comp and wires? I hate to think what they charge for a gearbox, any ideas?

What is a good price for a 2.5l V6 and box?

I have found a 2.5l GV V6 smashed sitting in a blokes front yard and I want to offer him some $$$ for the motor, gearbox and all the bits for a conversion. What would be a good price to get it for? I am thinking of offering him around $1500.

If the engine didn't need oil it could run up side down. :) So don't worry to much about the front to rear angles. :) more important is the drive line angles.

Actually they have a common positive and a switched negative for high and low beam. To hook up a relay for spotties simply wire one side of the relay coil to the common positive and the other to the high beam wire. This will turn the spotties on and off with high beam. You should insert a switch ...

The AC / PWR STR brackets will bolt on, but the belts won't line up as 16V 16B uses a wider timing belt pushing the fan/ac/PS belts out also. I fitted one once but had to weld, grind, and drill to space it out. The rest will fit. :)
