hot gear stick

I have a GQ 88 turbo desiel and my gear stick gets blood hot. This only seems to happen on hot days. Does anyone else have this problem? and what do you think is causing it? Oh yeah I have chnged the oil and it has made no difference. Thanks Woz

Here is something that Mr Bracks will have to think about. What about the new Jeep(not sure what model) but it had fixed mounted SPOT LIGHTS on the roof. If sold in Vic would it not be road worthy??? I might shoot him a mail and explain his problem.

GQ Brake Vacum pump/Alertnator

My brake vacum pump has shat it's self. It was like trying to stop using only my feet!!!
Can you have this fixed?? I can buy it new from nissan for $640.00. or get a changeover alternator from the wreckers $400.00. Its more money then i've got. If anyone has any sugestions???
