Re: 3.0 v6 4M40 swap compatibility

Alot of the Delica's had the oil pump/cooler/filter setup in a different place to the Pajero so I know a Pajero engine cannot go into a Delica but not sure about the other way around. The parts can be made to swap but you really need both engines there to know where to drill the extra holes into the ...

Another update, Managed to source some rear trailing arm bushes from the US of A, landed here were half the price as buying them here. I didn't want nolathane due to performance issues (harshness/stiffnesss/robustness etc) and pretty rapt with the service. The old ones were completley stuffed with ...

Yep, the rear suspension is standard at this stage! I'll just see how it goes and run from there. They are standard SWB coil springs!!! With all the weight gone it it sitting pretty high, the front mounts on the rear trailing mounts are a donut and don't like be lifted much, the more you lift a Paj ...

Re: Project Chop!

Yes I have thought about not making it legal but I want to be able to put it on the road. Rego $300 ish, Insurance $500 ish, WOF $100. So not really big costs in the scheme of things compared to having to trailer it. Many of our trips involve road driving too.

Have you been giving it a hard time with the locker in? I shore all the teeth of my factory locker when giving it a bit of jandal a few years ago and replaced with with another one and now have gone air leaker (and yes, it is true to name). I would put another factory one in but not be as violent on ...

You can just renew the output piece where the slipjoint is, thats what I did. Made it out of brass - solid as a rock now.

Mistubishi only sell the output housing complete and $NZ738 + GST

Hooked the steering up and bled the brakes and made an exhaust. Drove it out of the shed :D But I have a misfire, so have taken the inlet manifold chamber off to get the fuel injectors to get them cleaned. Hopefully thats what it is. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/glen_nz/IMG_6442.jpg http ...

Put some silicon spray on the tracks and it is much better, will see how long it lasts. Bit of a pain to do, I pulled all the trim off and the rubber out of its tracks to get a good coverage.

Anyone else sick of having slow electric windows?

Passenger side one the worst on both my pajero's. Real slow for first 10 inches then its away. Fine coming down.

Can you get rubber grease?
