correct... the top method will result in less bending moment about the chassis rail and is therefore the smarter way to go

no you fill out a form telling them what u are planning to do, they post it back saying yes thats fine or no thats no good. If they say it is all good they stamp the form with a box for the inpector to sign in. U then perform the body lift in accordance with how u described it in the form, once ...

hi guys - last month i had the body lift apporved on the slo lux (in brissy)so i can tell u exactly what they were after and what they did:

1. nylon or polyurethane blocks with a steel crush tube insert
2. fuel filler and brake line extensions as required
3. steering components can not be cut ...

My 5L lux (100 thousand ks) pulled 63kW at the rear wheels in third gear at 3000RPM on the detroit diesel chassis dyno - I thought that was reasonably good considering it is bone stock apart from 31s. It still feels sluggish on the road tho.....

Hi Guys,

wondering if anyone can help!!

I have a 99 hilux with the 5L motor, the problem is that when it is cold or when it has been sitting the oil pressure light takes about 5 seconds to go out. It is like the filter is draining back into the sump - could this be one of the relief valves ...
