Throttle cable length question 75s
Can anyone tell me which has the longer throttle cable petrol or diesel in a 1988 75 series. I am having problems with cables kinking on my chev and need one a bit longer than the original petrol one.

Joel, I reckon the slip shaft you have will be too long. I heard off a driveshaft dude that if your shaft is too long, this is heaps worse as it can screw up your transfer case when the shaft bottoms out? Is this true? Can anyone confirm? has anyone done this and if so whats involved apart from the engineering. Is there a easy way to extend the cap ie use the back of another ute and just add sheet metal between the pillars and sew the roof back together. Looks like a simlar result to mine. I notice you have no flexi flares or mud spats. I used a bit of ally sheet to replace the spats and help support the bottom of the flexi flare because I was left with a gap between the running boards and the flare all the rocks seemed to rattle tghrough this gap ...

Dave the plates from Snake racing do what you did with your springperch without redrilling you only have to drill the bottom plate. Your 2" iift will not make any difference to clearance when compressed, that is what the bump stops are for did you lower your stops or have you enough clearance to ...

Transfer case compatability
Can anyone tell me if a transfer case from a 60s four speed is able to be used behind a 75s 5speed box without mods to anything both are split case types but after that I know nothing .
