Thats to do with reciprocating weight. 2 litre 4cyl has heavier pistons than a 2 litre 6 cyl thus more leverage on the crank for every stroke. It also means that the the 4cyl won't rev as hard as it is too hard for the engine to stop the pistons and start them again at TDC and BDC.

At or MT what is better in high speed dirt?

What do you guys think? Are aggressive AT patterns (like the BFG and Cooper) better in high speed dirt than MT patterns?

Looking at doing abit of off road racing, hence the question.

Driveline clunk in Feroza wide track?

A Feroza that I am looking to purchase seems to have an excessive amount of backlash in the driveline. To the point of it clunks.

How much lash is normal?

Simex 33x10.5-16 JT2 or 32x9.5-16 ET? Around melbourne, high country and on the highway to and from the trails (the only road duties they will get). The sizes on the spec sheets are roughly the same.

Low range or high range on sand?

What worked best on the sand that you have driven on?

Give details of wether the sand was soft or firm, heavly loaded or light, mud tyres or all terrains, man or auto.

Which off the shelf kit is better?

How does the Rock Steady 4.5 in suspension kit compair to the Calmini 3in kit. Will either kit fit 31in tyres without cutting the guards? I want to fit 31in rubber on the widest offset 15x7 rim I can get off the shelf. Is that of a Jeep or F100?

W will bolt up, but don't know about transfer case. 2.7 porado uses W box. W stronger than G, R stronger than W. Luxes come with R series gearboxes in the diesel modles. Better choice for strength and bolt up ability. Go on Toyo mods web site for more info.
