GUIII 4.2 VACUM DIAGRAM
Does anyone have a vacum diagram for the GUIII 4.2 turbo diesel (03 model). Any assistance appreciated as we are trying to sort out a perceived lack of power problem, we think it might be a vacum problem?. (170000 kms, 12ltr per 100k's, 3 inch exhaust & DTS dump, no other mod's to pump or turbo ...

Now Harley Davidson's are agricultural. I guite often get off the old Massey Ferguson tractor after a long days work and find the Nissan most luxurious...I'll have to try getting into something more 'soft-istocated' . I've been agricultural and in my book the GU is far from agricultural. I think ...

I'm running the 4.2L Turbo Diesel ......whats the recommendation for the replacement? I have also some pannel damage front side step and guard and drivers door so its going to be a insurance claim. I haven't priced a genuine Nissan arm yet (that's what they will want to replace it with) but I should ...

100,000 SERVICE PRIORITY
The 03 Nissan GUIII 4.2 TDi has just churned over 100,000 K and is now out of warranty. I do my own services with minimal mechanical experience and when necessary have a certified mechanic mate assist. I follow the Nissan schedule but what's the biggie for the 100,000 sercie do you think? Interested ...

100K soon end of warranty
Well the first 100K have almost been racked up on the '03 TD6. Got a letter from Nissan offering extended warranty for a price. Was wondering what people think of this extended warranty. At the moment I think it's B.S. as the old girl is as solid as a Sherman tank. There are a few Nissan tech'son ...

I'm no expert but no one has mentioned the fact that Nissan upgraded the radiator in the 4.2 TD6 (2003) to a bigger one (I think the one used in the petrol 4.8) for this very reason. Maybe this is a big hint to pre 03 Nissan owners from Nissan???They wouldn't do anything for nothing...cheap arse ...

Thanks guys, This steel rack is strong as, I would be surprised if an alloy rack would cope with what a steel one could. Alloy let me down badly when I hit a medium sized roo with my standard Nissan bar, (4500$ damage -pannel only) I went steel after that and glad I did. I know I'm not going to hit ...

ROOF RACK MOUNTING ANY IDEAS
G'day, I've got hold of a full length ARB roof basket/rack. It's as solid as but very heavy, it would be impossible to mount by yourself without some sort of pulley set up or similar in the roof of your shed. Was wondering how everyone else manages...or do you just set it up and leave it. Didn't ...

L/Criuiser 45 series hub hot
I have a noise (grinding/scraping) from the r/hand front wheel. The hub is warm to touch when the L/h side is cold after a short run. I have no experience in hubs etc, never had on off. I'm guessing wheel bearing? Any advice appreciated. (P.S. this isn't a road rego'd vehcile, on farm work truck ...

Thanks Spannercrab and Bogged, very interesting stuff. I've intended to have my 03' TD6 'tunned' for some time now. I've done the first bit myself with a 3" DTS turbo exhaust kit. I spoke with a mob in Sydney and another in Brisbance re 'tunning' for increase in power/engine effeciency. One says ...

Firstly, I have no experience in this at all, I'm no mechanic or diesel pump expert, so I state this for further input from someone on this site who might be able to shed further light on what I have heard. Spoke to a fella today about this same issue. He reccons that dyno's are a waste of time as ...

If your on the H'Way travelling at 120km/phr your best bet is don't hit anything. The winch bar's seem to be very solid in the guts, when I worked out west in the drought (1992 one that is) we had winch bars which held out O.K. as long as you had the presence of mind and driver skill/discipline to ...

Nissan Warranty
I've previously posted re the problem of my vehicle running on ( 03' TD6 GUIII). The local dealer has had it back twice re this. The service manager stated that he replaced the wiring loom (or similar) for the fuel pump as per the Nissan Bulletin. Last week he had it back again re the same problem ...

Help - Dyno Tune?
I'm looking for some optios/recommendations of where to get my 03' TD6 Dyno tuned in the Brisbane to Gold Coast area. I could go to Sydney but I'm a few hours closer to Brisbane.
I'd appreciate any advice re the tune or where to get it done. Thanks.
