has any1 tried measuring the max distance that a spotlight can throw at different heights? Does a spotlight throw further at a higher level? Is there a point where a spotlight becomes too high & is less effective? Are spots as effective up on roof as out front on bullbar?

Hi all, I had alot of success following this post when I wired up my extra reversing spot.
Found that green/white trace wire in main loom, put a pin in it, then put testlamp to pin, & tried reverse. Worked a treat, & just a pinhole left in wire.

oh, its only got 246K's on it - bearly run in so why would compression rings be worn? Oil rings are fine as it hasnt used a drop of oil since I got it & blows no blue smoke.

well, had a compression test, low in 3 cylinders 440, 400, 300, 380, 280, 320 (back to front). It's got a very "lumpy" idle - worth checkin tappets as may be a few tight.
