brake light stays on

brake light stays on in my 89 mav. fluid is fine, hand brake works all brakes are working and were serviced 500kms before light came on any theories

are you talking about hand brake light on dash or actual brakelights @ rear?

if this is the light on the dash i had the same problem and it was the plastic seal in the cap had become inverted and when the cap went on it pushed the float down.

the other thing i have heard is the floats getting sticky and staying stuck down.
