im working on a 88 model charade. i know its not a 4x4 but it what my cousins bought. he was driving at 100km/h and the oil light came on for a split second and there was a ticking noise coming from the engine. its still there but only under revs. the oil and water are fine, no smoke, no overheating ...

i'm putting a new motor im my yuki and wanted to rebuild the old one. was tld that the 1.3's don't like to be rebuilt. is this so???? if so what do i do with the old one????

It could be the detent spring in the transfer. There is a spring loaded ball that keeps the high-low shift fork in position on top of the transfer, kept in place by a hex plug just to the left (passenger's side) of the high-low shift lever. Remove this plug and the spring, the ball will likely stay ...

I have an 85 cruiser swb 3f motor 5speed that keeps spitting out low 4. does any one have any ideas of what could be causing this and how do i fix it??? im in the bris area.
