take it beck to holden and ask them to do an injector solenoid cut off test and an injector balance test. the injector recalls have been known to be faulty. this should only take no longer than half an hr. we have had 3 come back thru our workshop. if the injectors are ok then go looking at the ...

Can i ask the one question that EVERYONE will ask you in disbelief..... ____________WHY??________________ because ive killed the 1.3 AGAIN and wanted to take the yuki (my sierra)away for christmas i dont have time to rebuild the 1.3 so i thought maybe a quick swap and i could still take it away ...

hi guys ive doe a search and couldnt find any direct answers...

ive got a 1l and want to put it where the 1.3 is atm... is it a straight forward job or a big hassle??

thanks guys. the oil sender unit is all good so ive ripped the sump off and its definately the bigend bearings. but its an easy fix cause it all looks good in there so ill just replace them and give it back to him.

im working on a 88 model charade. i know its not a 4x4 but it what my cousins bought. he was driving at 100km/h and the oil light came on for a split second and there was a ticking noise coming from the engine. its still there but only under revs. the oil and water are fine, no smoke, no overheating ...

i had this problem. after rebuilding the carby twice, new filters, and fuel lines i ended up having water in the fuel. (lots of it but thats another story.) it looked like some-one had cracked an egg in it. might pay to check your tank.

1.3lt engines ovalise the bore...... they have to be bored out way too far and are uneconomical to rebuild all i've done is break the oil ring in number 4 cyclinder b4 that it was running like a dream. the motor m putting in is better then my old one but if it can be rebuilt for under the going ...

It could be the detent spring in the transfer. Thats what i was thinking,body lift does it every time.

no it doesn't have a body lift , nor are the engine mounts broken even the detent plate is in perfect nick. guess i'll have to put it in to get fixed. thanks for the help tho. :)

I have an 85 cruiser swb 3f motor 5speed that keeps spitting out low 4. does any one have any ideas of what could be causing this and how do i fix it??? im in the bris area.
