Go a ZZ383 if going straight LPG. Big block torque in a small block. Check out the torque curves of it and several big blocks on the GM performance website. Don't buy through Eagle, import your own.

Whole new electric regulator from Nissan is about that. Still made and most dealers would have one in stock. There used to be a few part numbers for them but all supercede to one part number per door now.

Do you already have a 4L60? If not, get an early T700. Same thing but no electronics. Makes easier conversion and easier to manualise. And cheaper too of course.

Re: will a 4.5 auto go onto 4.8L motor
it prob will bolt up however there is more of an issue with getting the 4.8L motor to run The 4.8L engines use an all in one ECU/TCU where as the older 4.5L use a ECU for the engine and a seperate TCU for the Auto box. betting the 4.8L engine to run without the TCU connected is apparently hard work ...

If the GenIII throttle body is a practical upgrade, is it possible to bootyfab an adaptor and if so, why isn't someone?
Or is there a bolt on one from the Arab's? Even though they don't use the OE manifold.

A mate is branching out by creating his own brand of auto parts. It's getting quite big. He's due to start leads soon too. He said you' d be suprised how many "manufacturers" leads are made here in Melbourne. Dandenong to be exact. Large factory with signage. He has been there to discuss his ...

Re: onboard air compressor
Yes mate. Sorry. Thought you were playing along. Don't think an inverter exists that is big enough for any compressor. Also being a 3hp, a generator big enough to run it would cost thousands and not exactly portable. 8kva or bigger. Pic was done as a joke long time ago. That inverter is only to do ...

That compressor has a 3.0hp motor. So you might get away with a smaller inverter. Maybe just solar panels.

Enough room for two and you could sit up and get your shoes on for midnight leak without hitting your head on roof.
Sold the GQ and then made one the same for GU.

I had the exact same setup on my GQ and the exact same problems. It was the coil breaking down under load. It caused it to heat up and break down more, compounding the problem. It became way too hot to touch. Suprised it didn't go bang. I took the car back to the importer and showed him the problem ...
