How many peeps from the Brizzy area are keen & ready to have a go at this class. Even if the comps or class doesn't get offically off the ground for some time I can't see why we can't run our own playday comp in the meantime. Some of the new tracks to be built shortly could be designed for this ...

I've been checking specks of some cheaper chinese 4x4 atv/quad bikes, just to get some idea of dimensions/weights etc. They appear to be about 7' long by a bit under 4' wide, so it gives you some idea of what we are working with size wise, we need to be sitting where the motor is  & put the ...

G60MAN, Adjustable suspension has allready been ruled out way back in this topic, It will all work out in the end even if we are limited to greenfield & rover ride on mowers up to a max of 10 hp and you must retain the origanal cutting deck! Now that would be fun to watch, we could call it ...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Quote) I'm thinking the 6x4 trailer is probably going to be too restrictive if you're using 27" ATV tyres. In the end then you're looking at a shorter wheelbase than the average trailbike, and you've gotta sit down in ...

This idea is great, as said earlier there is no reason why multiple members of one family can't compete in the same comp in the same minibug. (barring breakages of course.) Just a few questions, is the frame of the buggy going to be the same for all? This way people can still run almost whatever ...

would a power steering pump even work as a hydaulic motor? Dont think it would. They are usually just a cheap vane type pump, which in theory can be turned into a vane type motor similer to those used in air tools, pump operating pressure is only around 1500 psi which is half of what normal ...

We should cap the engine size as that could get out of hand pretty quickly, but i think it would be cool to leave the tranmission of power from the engine to the wheels as anything goes, as it would allow some awesome new ideas to be born. Due to the high cost of motor cycle tyres  I'm thinking it would be cheaper to run 235/75/15 on 15x7 steel rims, as this tyre wheel combo can be bought for less than $150.00 brand new, thats how much just one cheap trials tyre cost. I like it, have been thinking there has to be a cheaper option to compete. would be heaps lighter to tow around to comps & small enough to store when not being used. Also easy to machine up your own parts from scratch when you have small hobby lathes & mills etc. Bring it on

The air flow sensor is only around $250.00 genuine Nissan Retail, others have told me they have been quoted $1000.00 but that must be for every thing including the intake piping etc. as well.

Re: Take advantage of this it doesn't happen often lol

I just had an idea. I can hear all the gasps now. :D Has anyone thought of using an independant suspension held in a frame that effectively makes it a live axle? The diff centre and the stubb axles would be held in a single frame that is then mounted on suspension. This would not only lift the diff ...

That HM45 is available in single & three phase as well, If you've got 3 phase power go that way for sure as it gives more torque & cheaper to run. You'll need all the torque you can get out of a 2hp motor when milling.
By the way milling is addictive be warned!!

It's stuffed. You'll have to buy a newy. Generally speaking most exhaust gaskets will go on either way but the port & bolt holes may not line up exactly so test it both ways paying close attention to the port areas for correct fit.
