Exactly, hence the reason I am not fond of directional tyres. Would like to hear from anybody who has been in this situation. BTW I am not bagging the claw, I'd buy it if it wasn't directional. I have also been told Simex ET2's are directional. I currently run JT2's. I've run a centipede backwards ...

A shift light would be handy when you are in low with rockhoppers, as it revs up pretty quick, even for a GQ Plus it would be useful for me as I never look at the tacho while I'm revving the ring out of it, thats what the rev limiter is for I have seen tachos fitted to the top right hand side of ...

I've had EFI and carby. EFI was a bit better on fuel, but not enough to warrant the extra dollars. Just remember the EFI is big bucks to fix if you have dramas. Carby is simple and its dirt cheap to get another carby if you do have problems. The extended rotor and extractors/bigger exhaust made a ...

I reckon it would be a nice conversion if you can do it. Know idea on specs but have seen a navara in Brizzy with 35 simexs on. It needs some trimming to fit them. To fit your 37's will take some serious work with the grinder Easiest way to line everything up would be to use the cab and make up a ...

Anybody know if I can fit a 40L Engel in the back of a swb without folding the rear seats down? They have more space in the back than most people think. With the back seat still in, you can fit a 40L Engel in the back easy. I can fit my 80L Waeco in plus 1 jerry can with the back seat still in, but ...

Without compressing a big spring you are pretty limited. Once its as high as you can get it, put it on chassis stands. Undo shocks and jack it up under diff centres (one end at a time) and take off the wheels and drop the jack as far as you can. This gives ya a bit more droop if ya jacks not high ...

Have spoken to a few carby places in Brisbane and they reckon the nissan carby is pretty good anyway so don't waste the money on an aftermarket offroad one. My carby works fine at 45 degrees with the revs up, its past that were it starts to cause problems. BTW I have a shorty, so thats how I know it ...

External rollcage are you talking about rollbar or exo? Can you do just an exo instead no internal and join that to the rear roll bar? Otherwise like bru21 said, your plan of an internal through rear of cab then mount rear bar to rear bodymounts, instead of external rollcage. Then have a separate ...
